We need to decide what to do about ed. Ed is a dependency nowdays for bc which is a dependency for the Linux kernel. So far so good. Until GNU decides to distribute ed only as a LZIP archive (hint it already did, latest version is only available with LZIP compression). At this moment I applied an ugly hack and recompressed the lzip in a tar.bz2 on an external site (https://karasz.im/ed-1.16.tar.bz2) but that is ugly. Propper fix is to teach OpenSDE to deal with LZIP?
